TRAVEL TO THE Venice CRUISE TERMINAL
Travel advice for cruises departing from Venice, from July 24th 2021
In view of the latest decision taken by the Italian Government, please note from July 24th 2021 all Health & Safety checks (including health screening, temperature measurement and the antigen swab test) and check-in procedures (including luggage delivery), will regularly be held in Venice Maritime Station (Cruise Terminal), as per original travel programme; all embarking guests will then be transferred by protected bus to Monfalcone (90 min transfer), where they will board the ship after a quick document check. No Health & Safety checks and check-in will be possible in Monfalcone. At disembarkation in Monfalcone at the end of the cruise, guests will be granted the return transfer to Venice (Cruise Terminal/Airport/Railway Station, as per original travel programme).
Leave the motorway to Venice at the Venezia-Porto exit and follow the signs for Venezia - Stazione Marittima - Terminal Passeggeri. MSC Parking is provided by PARCHEGGIO VTP (Venezia Terminal Passeggeri) as a self-service and is located inside the port area just in front of the embarkation terminals. Only by prebooking your space can be guaranteed as the facility has limited slots.

Santa Lucia Railway station - An MSC shuttle boat directly to your ship is available for a modest fare (no need to take the port internal shuttle). Book your prepaid shuttle service here.

Alternatively you can walk to Piazzale Roma (approx.600 metres), where you can take the People Mover train to the Marittima terminal entrance. Upon your arrival at the entrance an internal shuttle will bring you to the terminal where your ship is docked.
Venezia-Mestre Station - The railway station is approximately 10 km from the Cruise Terminal. You can request an offer of MSC Transfer service through MSC Call Center or your travel agent. You can also facilitate your travel with luggage delivery service by clicking here.
Venice Marco Polo airport (https://www.veneziaairport.it/en/) is approximately 20 minutes from the cruise port, depending on the traffic. Alternatively, you can take a taxi boat. You can also request the MSC Transfer service by calling our contact centre or your travel agent. Alternatively you will find an MSC booth just outside the arrivals hall on your right in order to fix your arrangements. When you arrive to Marittima terminal entrance an internal shuttle will bring you to the terminal where your ship is docked. Fly&cruise guests have their transfer included in the package.
